  Kaitlyn Scott did a fantastic job on my daughter's hair a few weeks back. She absolutely loves the new color!
  I however did not have a good experience at all with a different stylist yesterday. I am extremely disappointed and have literally cried every time I look in the mirror. My hair was nearly to my waistline. I showed her a picture of a straight style with lots of layers and volume. I explained I do not have the time or desire to spend unnecessary time styling my hair before work. I have had a similar cut and know the layers help with my texture when it air dries. I mentioned more than once I do not like shoulder length hair on myself and why. When she finished cutting, my hair barely reaches my shoulder blades yet has no layers to create the desired volume. It required tons of product and she even curled it to give illusions of the requested layers. One day later, I have a nearly blunt cut just barely below shoulder length hair style that I do not have the time or desire to style daily. I also scheduled to have my hair colored during this appointment using the balayage technique. The stylist instead gave me foiled highlights which were not left on long enough to lift to the requested color. I now have brassy stripes that could have come from any box kit bought from Wal-Mart by a teen with a YouTube account. I understand foils can be used in addition to the balayage technique for the "American tailored" result, but that is not what I received. I have never felt more unattractive in my life and will have to either attempt to fix it myself or pay in excess of the $200 already spent to have another salon fix this. I am completely dissatisfied with the cut and color in every way possible.
